Fresh from the wire
Just read this article at the New York Times website. A Chaldean Catholic archbishop who was kidnapped in Iraq last month was found dead on Thursday, his body half-buried in an empty lot in the northern city of Mosul, police said.

Well written stuff at Guardian.com
Thought-provoking read from Guardian.com. Don't let your child swallow two magnets at the same time. One is okay.

Italian food
Monday was great . Dylan and I had lunch at Italian restaurant Nasconi.

Dylan was recommended the spaghetti carbonara, which was great. I went for the osso buco.
The atmosphere was great. Our waiter was always on top of what we needed and was easily accessible. You should go there if you're in the neighbourhood and you like Italian food.

Yesterday, lunch was scallops. Dinner was actually very good: burritos.

A very bad movie
Tony and I saw 'Nine Lives' yesterday. I won't spoil the plot (or waste my time :-) by telling you anything about the movie but that it is directed by Rodrigo García. The direction was awfully bad. Mary Kay Place gave a rather decent performance though.

Chagrin is not distinct
Despair is the enemy of all that is meaningful and weighty. I know my fear is not very strong. I think it is ridiculous worry is just so vain.
